Mission-driven green research and innovation partnerships (Innomission Partnerships)

Mission 2: Green fuels for transport and industry (Power-to-X, etc.)

Deadline: 19 oktober 2021

The proposed initiatives should have a clear focus on developing and working on implementing key power-to-X technologies to the following sectors of mainly heavy duty transport:

  • Land transport
  • Ships
  • Aviation

The aim is to reduce uncertainty and achieve cost parity between alternative green and fossil fuels. E.g. a clear and stable path as to which fuels besides direct electrification to target, which preferably is already a global commodity e.g. Hydrogen, Ammonia, Methanol and biooil while also potentially drastically increasing the availability of green hydrogen.
